Austin’s current goal is to improve his range of motion and get back to doing more of the activities he loves, like boxing. Intensive physical and occupational therapy is helping him use his prosthetics better every day.

Although his road continues to have its ups and downs, it is these little “wins” that allow him to have some normalcy in his life. This journey has given him a life lesson that is invaluable….without failure, there is no progress and the more you fail, the more you will succeed…..we have learned to welcome it because where most see it as a disappointment, we now view it as a gift. If you are not failing, you are not trying hard enough….

He’s been working hard. Getting better and better each day. Progress requires patience. It’s easy to get lost in the daily grind, wondering why results aren’t immediate, but having the ability to trust the process and know that daily commitments and consistency are the formula to success makes the wait well worth it. Look at this face and this smile.

May 16th will be one year since his accident and I darn well know that he is a perfect example of patient progress. Make tomorrow productive. Don’t disregard the value of your daily actions and choices towards a greater goal!
Prayers that Austin continues on his path to God’s plan!!❤️🙏🏼
